STREET STYLE IN JAPAN 2013 PART 3

RAIN SHOE FASHION

Rain shoes are very popular in Japan. In fact, they are a very fashionable
item for not just young teenagers. Often made of rubber, sometimes
referred to as jelly or jellies by westerners but they come in all manner
of styles. Some are like Wellingtons based on the most well know ones
from Hunter but in more fun colours, patterns and prints than Hunter has.
Other styles pay a resemblance to Dr. Martens or DMs as they are more
affectionately known.  The popular trend for transparency in accessories
is very easy to spot on the streets of Tokyo.
We had a few days rain only but wanted capture a few images to share with you.
