TOKYO STREET STYLE PART 11

A young man poses for a picture on Omotosando in Tokyo’s
Harajuku district. He has a very unique sense of style
that I admire. Innovation and inspiration are at work here
with shoes created by his own hands. Why be plain when
you can stand out and be counted among the many.

Ayaka from Kanagawa (left) with her bag by Creamy Mami
and her friend Hikaru (right) with her Vintage fur hat,
dress by Lolita and a Balenciaga bag. Both were spotted
shopping on Omotosando in Harajuku in Tokyo.

Izumi and her friend both stylishly dressed in used or
second hand clothing. Their theme is Oriental.
One being Chinese inspired, the other Japanese.
Vintage shoes and a leather clutch bag complete his look.

TOKYO STREET STYLE PART 10

Two teenage girls pose for a picture in front of the legendary
Shibuya style Mecca the 109. Five floors of fashion heaven
aimed primarily at women. These two girls wear a tamed
version of the Shibuya Gyaru style that would normally have
girls with longer legs and long or super flowing curls of blond hair.

Two teenage girls pose for a picture while on a visit to
Takeshita Dori in Tokyo’s Harajuku district. Making the popular
peace sign, they are dressed in modified school uniform,
replacing legwarmers or knee high socks for stockings or
hold ups and suspenders do go with their tartan skirts.
Their bags are adorned with a multitude of cuteness.
This is a style tribe in itself but is one of fun and playfulness.
Older teenagers tend however wish to push the look much further.

LOLITA. OH HOW SWEET YOU ARE

Sweet Lolita Style. Not seen here for a while.
Some of our frilly friends to greet you and spread their happiness
and sweet energy.

Two teenage girls dressed the same. Both in their favorite
style of Sweet Lolita, part of the Elegant Gothic Lolita trend.
The fashionable Takeshita Dori was where we saw these girls.
