MARKET FORCES

Today was a rare treat. Actual time off away from the mainstream
fashion job. Was almost about to use the H word ( holiday ) but for
present circumstances rendering that particular choice of the H word
unsuitable. So off to the vintage market at Spittalfields in London, for
a wonder around the delights and curiosities that present themselves.
These are some of the cool style captives we came across.

This is W from China with her Christian Dior Lady Dior handbag

Boots also from Christian Dior

This is Taka from Nagano in Japan photographed at London's Spitalfield
Market. Note his amazing bispoke statement shoes by his friend
Kimura Daita from the Old Curiosity Shop

Most certainly a curiosity and most certainly amazing. We love them.

OK

A different market today. This time Portobello Road Market famed
for its antiques, vintage fashion shops and for featuring in various movies.

This is Luis from London looking all mean and serious

This is Suzuki from Tokyo Japan. He wears Reebok trainers, trouser from
Beams in Harajuku, Tokyo. We love his look. What say you?

The all familiar Date Megane look. Gone global as Geek chic

Reports of the dip dye hair trend being no more are greatly mistaken.
It's alive and kicking and looks to be with us for some time to come. Here
we see purple shades displayed by cute and funky Seo from South Korea.

This is artist and designer Anna Kompaniets from Russia. Some of you
may have spotted her as a frequent and familiar face at London Fashion Week.
She has a very distinctive sense of style. Here Anna wears her own creations
with the exception of her cute handbag and her shoes by United Nude.
