LONDON FASHION WEEK JSTREETSTYLE

A few more images to share with you all from Fashion Week in London.

Wallice ( Left ) from Hong Kong rocking the masculine look.
Her friend Irene ( Right ) wears Dennis Howell trousers and
Comme des Garcons jacket and shoes.

Jason Yao Yao wearing Vivienne Westwood

Just so we're crystal, these belong to Jason.

Models, DJs and performance artists with a unique
look and style

Seeing RED?
It's all good when they're heels from Christian Louboutin.
The shoe master. Who says gangs are all negative violent.
There's a specific gang culture out there and its colours are
heels with a distinct lick of red paint up the back.
Are not these a thing of beauty fused with a menacing slant.
You could indeed do some damage in these but these gang members
like nothing more than to command respect of their sense of style.
Personally though, I wouldn't entertain the thought of messing
with one of these gang members. They have the upper hand
and can easily stamp out anything you can dish out.

Classic Japanese beauty

Simone from Italy wearing a dress by Eric Vistra,
and a Balenciaga bag with platform shoes by Versace

Wand to get spotted? This is how you do it.

Stylist Karina shares with us her passion
for the 1950s glamour and style

Sporting the trend for an elegant woman with a cigarette
in hand just we would have seen years ago or on the
silver screen.

LONDON FASHION WEEK JSTREETSTYLE

Street style at London fashion week is one of my joys. I do enjoy the different approach to street fashion that's more brand focused. Just like the day job, your recall of all those luxury brands and new designers you've been cramming into your head in fear they'll merely leak out the side, actually come into play and manage to come into their own and in abundance.

Here are some more of the weeks proceedings.

Japanese fashion designer Mika Harverly of Simeon Farrar

Ever so cute Stella from Stella's Wardrobe wearing a unique mix of fetish and
school girl wear from Topshop, Cambridge Satchel Company and Price Review

Talking of brands, those nice folks at Dolce & Gabbana
just can't stop laughing, at the success of their winning
collection of A/W 2011 star prints.

Always super stylish is Peoni Lim
White jacket by Zara and trousers by Missoni and Hermes Tote

Elle Magazine's Fashion editor Kate Lanphear poses for a picture
as she arrives for the Holly Fulton show. This was the first time
in ages I've seen the lovely Kate in a skirt and not trousers.
A great look but then she never gets it wrong. Always a fan.

A very dapper Toni Tran from Fashitects in a blazer by Topman,
Zara shirt, Monki trousers with his vintage box.

Vogue Nippon fashion editor Anna Dello Russo poses
for a picture as she arrives to attend the Marios Schwab show

This is Claire Wilkinson. What a woman. There were many girls,
great looking models, but for me this woman shone out above
all others. She had style, she had class, charisma and well,
you get the picture. She made an impression.
We salute you Claire from Fashion and frank

OK. More Foot Candy
You know you all love it so enjoy this session

A fashion week favorite. Shoes by Sam Edelman with exciting
and distinctly prickly personality but one we can put up with.

 Emilie Shoes by Emily Lamb

Seriously exciting from Balenciaga
Even more excitement this time from Miu Miu

Wizardry from the master. Nicholas Kirkwood

 Dripping with excitement

Oh dear! What have we here!

LONDON FASHION WEEK JSTREETSTYLE

It's that time of year again when fashion week comes to town. Trouble is, all over the world people seem to be saying that same thing. I'm having a whinge due to fashion week fatigue and we've only just started the season has. My eyes hurt. Make it stop. Don't get me wrong.
You all know I love imagery and fashion but I need a break.

OK. Whinge over.

The weekend of the 16th - 19th September saw all that is fashion come to good old London town. The stars came to visit their favorite shows. The actresses, models, style icons, super editors, the bloggers and the worlds top street fashion fans all descended on the centre of town.
For one day only, even the sunshine paid London a visit all be it very brief as the dominant side of British weather always has the last word, It spoke in volumes on Saturday evening and wouldn't shut up for ages. Rain, rain, rain. Bla, bla, bla.

Well when the sun shined earlier, the cameras were out. Tommy Ton, The Sartorialist, Facehunter, WGSN. the usual crown plus a whole lot more. While the Holly Fulton show was up next to feature its offerings for what we'll be wearing for the spring of 2012, the streets were packed. Rammed with bodies most of them cameras in hand. It was exciting thought.
I love people watching. Who doesn't? It all happened in front of your eyes and what a site.

Elle magazine fashion editor, the lovely Kate Lanphear chasing Tommy Ton. Anna Dello Russo. The fashion editor to Vogue Nippon, you know, the Italian woman with the most amazing legs who showed up dressed in a white trouser suit with matching hat & cute Bottega Veneta clutch bag. What an entrance she made. Showstopping. It was a packed and most eventful weekend.
I met many new faces from many different places.

Join us for a brief journey through the images from that weekend that was Fashion Week in London.

Fashionable Japanese writer Yu Masui with fashion blogger
Diane Pernet looking nice and cosy together for a picture.

Model Erin O'Connor arriving for the Holly Fulton show

Here she is again, rocking a different shade of blue
for the Marios Schwab show.

While we're on the rare celebrity trip, we have Jade Ewen
of the Sugababes. Ever so pretty and paying her dues in velvet blue hues.

Peaches Geldof walks tall albeit very carefully in a towering
high pair of platform heels

Much more sensibly and stylishly dressed was singer
Paloma Faith flying the flag in designs by Ashish. Love the
socks and Lita boots she rocks, the latter by Jeffrey Campbell

Here's a familiar face you'll see at London Fashion Week.
You usually see him causing all manner of Pandemonia

Pretty in pink. Especially when they're from Prada.
Makes the eve more pretty don't you think?

Be green to be seen in these slingback pencil heels

Just putting the boot in. Nice aren't they. from Opening Ceremony.
More green. Are we envious yet? This time we're looking at
some very pretty heels from Kurt Geiger.

YSL pumps towering high. Working them in the light

And on the right, working them in the dark with socks.
Socks and heels was one of the more popular trends
one spotted at London Fashion Week.

OK, Enough for now
More foot candy later on. Have so save some for later.

I love this dress from Miu Miu

Three Japanese students check out the proceedings of the day.
