VINTAGE FAIRS ARE BACK
The Vintage Fashion Fair Scene in London got off to a great start
in early September. The first off the starting block, was the award winning
Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair.
This took place over the weekend of the 4th - 5th September,
and was the first Vintage fashion fair in 18 months.
Situated in its new long term home of the Grand Lodge, or Freemasons Hall,
in Covent Garden, the weekend special saw 50 specialist traders.
Some in Vintage designer handbags, some purely in YSL, some in just jewellery,
others into specific or general eras, of time and decades of style,
deliver quality slices of vintage style served up to a public, hungry for style
that last and has individuality to it. If it’s fast, it don’t last. Well known mantra.
After a gentle peruse of vintage delights for myself, spending spree not the intention,
I ventured out to see the punters. Some actually dressed up and got their groove on.
This is actually the norm when it comes to the vintage scene.
We put the effort back into dressing up, just like the good old days.
Here is a selection of images I shot over the weekend, of attendees,
arriving in style, for their first taster of vintage, in a very long while.

You cannot use these images unless permission is given.
