GIVE LONDON A SHOUT WHILE OUT & ABOUT

Met a 50s maiden all dolled up in her gear.
By golly I do declare, she most certainly was fair,
with a fine set of pins and tattoos everywhere.

This is Sonie from Osaka. Bright and colourful. She's wearing;
top - topshop
cardigan - charity shop
skirt - charity shop
shoes - marks
bag - free from 'viking direct'

we don't normally bring you candid but she was pretty.
Even got a smile. A rare thing indeed, that's not happened for a while.

A CELEBRATION OF HILARY ALEXANDER

The fashion industry got  together last night at the stylish and rather awe inspiring St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, to celebrate the career of Hilary Alexander.
Who’s she some of you are asking? Well in the world of fashion she’s up there, at the top as one of the world’s most respected fashion journalist. For many years she’s been Fashion Director at the Telegraph newspaper. She’s also a stylist and she’s won many awards. The British Fashion Council and the Telegraph held a humble gathering for the colourful and always smiling Hilary. A woman that tweets more than even Anna Wintour does. Sadly Anna couldn’t make it but a few other people in the fashion world showed up.
See if you can spot them in the humble pics I shot on my near to death camera. I wrestled with it and in Photoshop until 3AM. Slept 2 hours and started again. You all know I so need a new camera. Sorry about that folks. It will happen and I can only apologise until then.

 The incredibly tall fashion model Lily Cole in a Roland Mouret dress with Chanel heels. I've always been fascinated with her amazing heel arch. I remember her when she first hit the catwalk back in 2004 when she was named Model of The Year. I saw this young woman that reminded me of a Blythe doll with her round face and vivid red hair. She was curvy, womanly even though in her teens. Now she's the regular form of a model. Tall, slim but what a presence.  Sorry my pic is blurred but my camera packed up as she posed. When it stop embarrassing me in front of the stunning woman, I managed to get a shot or two as she moved away.
