WE'RE BACK

 we’re back

We’ve missed you all, and I hope at least some of you have missed us too.
What a year. It’s been almost a year since our last post here on JSTREETSTYLE.

Aside from the world seemingly like its falling apart, there’s been pretty much nothing
from here in the UK we could bring to your attention until today. On the street style
scene it’s been silent globally, with the exception of Hong Kong, and Mainland China,
where they locked down and managed things, leaving the stylish folks to go out and
rock their style once more.

But from here in London, we miserable Brits are always complaining about the weather,
and for good reason too. Hence that phrase "dress for an English summer".
So the insane rare summer heat brought people out from their caves, and a few decided
to rock some style. So here are the few that we managed to get for you to view.

How cool does this person look. Love their style.
A clear leaning towards the theatrical and for good reason too.
Spotted at the world famous Portobello Road Market on Stylist Day,
where it is quite normal usually to spot the team from Gucci, haggling
over prices when their copies of original vintage are insanely mareked up.
Stick with the originals we say. Can't beat the beauty of authentic Vintage.

Loving the vintage flair here. We spotted this stylish woman at the
Vintage Market on Brick Lane.

This woman with a cool shaved head groove is photography student
and activest Zoe Wu
We spotted her with a friend at Graduate Fashion Week in London's Kings Cross.
She wears a fury crop top, with a shirt with blue and lemon stripes.
and beige flared jeans. We just love her cool shaved hairstyle. Awesome.

Next up, we have Xie Wenjun from Guang Zhou in China.
Her style is of a minimalist nature and is very Japanese in style.
She was spotted Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross London. She wears a hat by
Yohji Yamamoto, earrings by Jil Sander, a vintage pearl necklace,
a lovely dress by UK based designer Renli Su and shoes by Uma Wang.

Rounding up this first post of the year 2021, is Barbara from Shanghai China,
who we spotted in Kings Cross in London on a very rare hot sunny
summer afternoon. She wears Prada sunglasses, a monochrome knitwear
vest by Copy Express, a bag by Chanel, skirt by Ottolinger, and sandals
