LONDON FASHION WEEK

It's that time of year the world's fashion crowd, the Fashionista, the editors, press, TV, photographers, stylist, new designers, you name them, if they've an interest in fashion, London was the place to be this week for the chance to catch a glimpse of next season's collections. The new looks. What will be wearing in spring and summer of 2011? The looks, the inspirations, the colours and trends.

Meanwhile on the street side of things, there were those that turned up dressed to impress, those that wanted maximum impact or attention seekers if you will. The fresh new and young designers showing off their new creations be they shoes, bags, dresses. It's after all the perfect ground for marketing ones brand as the worlds fashion media are here all in one place on your doorstep. Why waste such an opportunity after all. Many didn't and embraced the moment.

What we saw on the street was a mixture of lovers of vintage. Brands. Those that had to have as many different well known names as could get into their look. The super stylish. The way cool stylish and elite fashion bloggers. Fashion students doing their part to be in the magic of the moment. It’s all fun. Well to me to us it is but on the other side of things, it’s a business and it’s all work and very hard work at that.

There’s something to be said for the phrase “keeping up appearances”
Well let’s get on with things. What did we see you’re saying. Let’s take a look then.

The fashion buyer from Japan. Uber stylish.

We love her and just like the rest of the world, if only we could get more of
